First, the application of compounded silicone rubber technology

The compounded silicone rubber is a synthetic rubber obtained by repeatedly adding silicone rubber raw rubber to a two-roll rubber mixer or a kneading machine to gradually add white carbon black, silicone oil and the like. Can be used in aviation, cable, electronics, electrical, chemical, instrumentation, cement, automotive, construction, food processing, medical equipment and other industries, for molding, extrusion and other mechanical deep processing.

Second, the process of mixing silicone rubber

Silicone rubber: Mixing silicone rubber can be mixed without plasticming. Generally, it is mixed with an open mill. The roll temperature is not more than 50 degrees. When the raw rubber is added, the front roll is fed. After feeding the powder, the roll should be applied on both sides.

The mixing is carried out in two stages:

The first paragraph: raw rubber - reinforcing agent - structure control agent - heat resistant additive - thin pass - the next piece.

Third, the mixing silicone rubber molding process

1. Molding: Firstly, the rubber material is punched into a certain shape, filled into the cavity, and the mold is placed on the heated flat vulcanizing machine and between the lower plates, and heated and pressed according to the prescribed process to vulcanize the rubber. The lower mold gets a piece of vulcanized silicone rubber product

2. Transfer molding: the prepared rubber is loaded into the plug cylinder at the upper part of the mold, heated and plasticized, and the rubber is molded into the heating cavity through the casting port by means of the plunger pressure.

3. Injection molding: the rubber compound is placed in the barrel for heating and plasticizing, and the rubber compound is directly injected into the closed cavity through the nozzle through the plunger or the screw, and the in-situ vulcanization is realized under heating.

4. Extrusion molding: a continuous molding process for forcing a mixture of rubber into a certain section shape through a die.

Therefore, when the silicone product factory realizes the molding of the silicone product, it is necessary to select a suitable molding method according to the product and the operation method. If the quantity of the second-quality silicon rubber product can be selected for transfer molding, rather than blind selection, this will not only result in production. Inefficient, it also caused losses to the factory.
